State Historic Preservation Office Staff Tenure Chart
The information presented in this chart is based on a complete-as-possible-under-the-circumstances chronology of individuals who worked for the state historic preservation office between 1969 and 2010. Some years of service may not be entirely accurate, and some individuals with service may have been inadvertently overlooked, due to gaps or inconsistencies in the available office records.
A note about names: Some staff changed last names during the time period covered in this chart. In those cases, the staff persons’ names are listed twice (or in one case, thrice): once for each last name. Each of these names will display the same chronology on the tenure-bar chart.
A few names have no accompanying tenure bar. These individuals have an indeterminate tenure in the currently available office records. Again, the compilers of this chart will greatly appreciate any information documenting the tenure of these individuals, even if incomplete or anecdotal.
Corrections and clarifications will be much appreciated!
